Dr. Antia attended undergrad at the University of Central Florida, where she graduated with Honors. She then completed her medical degree at The University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
She moved on to fellowships in clinical research (Cincinnati, Ohio), complex medical dermatology (Ann Arbor, Michigan), and cosmetic dermatology (Toledo, Ohio). She completed her residency training at Cook County Hospital's Dermatology, where she served as chief resident during her last year.
Dr. Antia was born in Medellin, Colombia, and moved to the States to pursue her life in medicine. Her passion for dermatology has led to numerous fellowships in the field. She is a published author with work in over 20 articles and is very interested in clinical trials, cosmetics, and medical dermatology.
Dr. Antia speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Portuguese. When she is not working, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband and traveling.
